Remi Tinubu Launches ₦2.5 Billion Sanitary Pad Initiative for Schoolgirls Nationwide

The wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has flagged off the distribution of three hundred and seventy thousand sanitary pads worth two point five billion naira to schoolgirls in rural communities across the thirty-six states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The launch, held at the State House, Alausa, Ikeja, was carried out under her Renewed Hope Initiative programme.

Senator Tinubu, who was represented by the wife of the Lagos State Governor, Doctor Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, said the intervention was designed to address menstrual health challenges facing young girls in underserved areas.
