NIGERIA’S D’TIGRESS TAKE ON CAMEROON IN AFROBASKET QUARTER-FINALS

The D’Tigress of Nigeria will take on Cameroon in the quarter-finals of the 2025 FIBA Women’s Afro Basket, scheduled on the 31st of July 2025 at the Palais des Sports de Treichville in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

Nigeria cruised through the group stage, opening with a dominant 92–45 win over Rwanda before edging Mozambique 65–60 in a much tougher contest. The two victories ensured their place in the last eight.

The D’Tigress are looking to make history by becoming the first team to win a fifth consecutive women’s Afro Basket title.
