FG Reaffirms Commitment to Student Safety, Vows Continued Support for Safe School Initiative

The Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring safer learning environments for Nigerian students through continued support for the Safe School Initiative.

The Minister of State for Finance, Doris Uzoka-Anite, made this announcement in Abuja during the 2025 International Students’ Day celebration, organized by the Office of the Special Assistant to the President on Student Engagement.

The statement stated that the government would continue to ensure funding for education, teachers’ salaries, school‑feeding programmes, and safe learning environments through initiatives such as the Safe School Initiative.
