NIGERIA D’TIGRESS CRUSH CAMEROON TO REACH AFROBASKET 2025 SEMI-FINALS

Nigeria D’Tigress advanced to the semi-finals of the 2025 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket with an 83-47 victory over Cameroon in Abidjan.

The six-time defending champions will face Senegal next.

Cameroon started strong with a 4-0 lead, but Nigeria quickly took control, leading 36-18 at halftime. Amy Okonkwo was outstanding, scoring 15 points and grabbing 5 rebounds in the first half. Off the bench, Victoria Macaulay added energy and dominated the paint, helping Nigeria secure the win.
