WIDOW OF SLAIN LAWMAKER SEEKS TO CONTINUE HIS LEGACY

Justina Azuka, wife of the murdered Anambra lawmaker Justice Azuka, has declared her intention to contest the vacant Onitsha North 1 constituency seat.

Her husband, who was kidnapped in Onitsha on Christmas Eve 2024 and later found dead near the Second Niger Bridge in February, despite reports of a ransom payment.

Following public calls for the Labour Party to support her candidacy, Justina’s campaign posters have surfaced under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), sparking controversy over the Labour Party’s refusal to back her.
