Fulham’s Iwobi Hails Nigerian Presence in Premier League, Welcomes Samuel.

Super Eagles and Fulham midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has expressed confidence in Nigeria’s World Cup qualification campaign.

 Iwobi, who recently equalled Shola Ameobi’s record as the Nigerian with the most Premier League appearances, said that the achievement is an honour but insists he is focused on playing more games and setting a higher record.

Speaking to newsmen, the Fulham star described his consistency as a blessing and credited his family’s support for keeping him grounded. He says surpassing Ameobi’s feat in fewer years is a motivation to continue performing at the top level for both club and country.

Iwobi also welcomed fellow Nigerian Samuel to Fulham, noting that their presence alongside other Nigerians in the Premier League reflects strong national representation.
