Governor Sanwo-Olu Urges Residents to Break Silence on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence.
The Lagos State Government is calling for a multidisciplinary approach to address the ongoing rise of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) in the state and across the country.
Speaking at a forum, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, represented by the Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team, Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, encouraged residents to speak out about cases of violence in order to combat the culture of silence, and to take advantage of the support interventions provided by the state government.
