Oyo Deputy Governor Urges Unity for National Progress at Independence Day Celebration

Oyo State Government has called on citizens to embrace unity across ethnic and religious lines, emphasising that national progress is only possible through collective harmony.
Speaking at the Independence Day celebration held at Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan, the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Adebayo Lawal, stressed the importance of unity in building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.
He noted that, despite the nation’s challenges, Nigerians must remain hopeful and committed to forging ahead together.
The Deputy Governor urged citizens of Oyo State and Nigerians at large to continue to support the current administration in its drive to deliver good governance.
