Oyo State Seeks Investors for Development of Five Key Tourism Sites

The Oyo State Government has called on local and international investors to express interest in the development and management of five priority tourism sites across the state under Public-Private Partnership arrangements.

The state, through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Oyo State Investment and Public-Private Partnership Agency, announced the investment drive in a statement. The five focus sites listed for concession are Eleyele Lake, Ibadan Cultural Centre, Bower’s Tower, Iyake Lake in Ado-Awaye, and Idere Hills.

The statement said that the Government seeks credible partners to finance, design, build, operate, and maintain these sites in line with the State’s Tourism Reset Agenda, ensuring sustainability, community inclusion, and strong return on investment.
