Tinubu to Review State Policing Bill, Receives Support from Northeast Governors

President Bola Tinubu has stated that his administration will review the bill currently before the National Assembly to address the political issues hindering the establishment of state policing in Nigeria.

The President made this statement while receiving governors from the Northeast region at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

In his address to the governors, President Bola Tinubu commended their efforts in maintaining peace and stability in the region.

Governor Babagana Zulum, speaking on behalf of the governors, expressed their support for President Tinubu’s initiative to combat insurgency.

The Borno State Governor emphasized the need for a collective approach among states to effectively track down insurgents and address insecurity in the region.
