IPPIS Gives FG Ultimate Control Over Universities — OOU Lecturer.

A lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, Doctor Kamaru Salawudeen, has affirmed that the Integrated Personnel and Payroll System (IPPIS) is in operation in Federal Universities in Nigeria, which he says gives the federal government ultimate power.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Dominion News, Salawudeen blamed the recent wave of Japa syndrome among Nigerian educators on poor remuneration, stressing that all who leave the country for another are merely in search of a greener pasture.He, however, urged employers of labour to be considerate while making certain decisions on behalf of their employees.
