Montessori Expert Urges Support for Children with Disabilities, Calls for Inclusive Classrooms

A Montessori instructor, Moyosoreoluwa Odegbayi, has called on the government, parents, and society at large to help people, especially children with disabilities, harness their uniqueness.
Odegbayi, who said this in an interview with Dominion News, stated the need for the government to create classrooms that encourage their strength, calling also on teachers to play their parts judiciously to stop the marginalization of the category of students and pupils in question.

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) reports that globally, nearly two hundred and forty million children with disabilities are more likely to miss out on school and face significant challenges in their overall development and well-being.
