PDP EXPELS MEMBERS FOR BACKING ADC

The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled several members for endorsing the African Democratic Congress (ADC), citing disloyalty and gross misconduct.

The expulsion was announced by Segun Edwards, spokesperson for the PDP Elders Caucus and a local party chairman, following a strategic stakeholders’ meeting held to review the recent PDP National Executive Committee (NEC) session in Abuja.

Edwards said the affected members were immediately removed for openly supporting a rival party, an act the party deemed a clear breach of its constitution and core principles.
