Trump Expresses Optimism on U.S.–China Trade Deal Ahead of Xi Meeting.

United States President Donald Trump has told a room full of CEOs at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in South Korea that he believes the US is going to have a deal with China, and it will be a good deal for both countries.

The US President is meeting his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, tomorrow for much-anticipated discussions on their countries’ trade war.

Trump has met the South Korean president Lee Jae Myung, who is also under pressure to finalise a trade deal.
