Nine Dead, Five Missing as Floods Ravage Central Vietnam.

Nine people have been killed and five others are missing as heavy rains triggered floods in central Vietnam.

Six of the fatalities were in Danang, home to one of the country’s most popular beaches, and the ancient town of Hoi An.

The floods have also swamped more than one hundred and three thousand houses, mostly in the country’s top tourist sites of Hue and Hoi An.
